Rooms: Awful not 4 star, shower not suitable for disabled guests, bed uncomfortable Breakfast room slippers or shoes only expensive, and didn't stay as inadequate for our simple needs I wouldn't recommend

Out dated, not suitable for the disabled . No lounge prices too high I would rate it 2 star not 4 star bed bumpy didn't stay but lost payment for 2 nights I wouldn't recommend it.locattion not far from city centre but too far with walking disabilities Safety: Room in Attic no knowledge of fire exit

We arrived early and wanted to let Elizabeth and Spiros we were in York. They were very welcoming and helped us sort our carpark. York centre is a short pleasant walk. Our room on the first floor was lovely and warm with everything we could want. The bed, pillows and duvet were sooo comfortable. Breakfast was served 8.30-9.00am. A good selection of food and cooked food served by Spiros. We cannot fault Sycamore Guest House and would recommend and return Thank you very much.

The Greek host, who describes himself as the boss's husband, is very polite, courteous and funny. Always a little chat ready. Breakfast is excellent. (Original) Sehr schönes und ruhiges Gästehaus/ B&B in unmittelbarer Innenstadt-Nähe. Ca. 10 Minuten durch den Park zu Fuß und man ist bereits an der Kathedrale. Der griechische Hausherr, der sich als Ehemann der Chefin bezeichnet, ist sehr höflich, zuvorkommend und lustig. Immer ein kleines Schwätzchen parat. Frühstück ist hervorragend.

Great choice with breakfast and everything cooked freshly for you. Fresh juice, choice of cereals and yogurt. Choice of bread to be toasted with full English breakfast consisting of bacon, sausage, hash brown, tomatoes, mushroom and eggs done to your choice. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. We were made welcomed and well looked after.
