Often meet friends in there. Good choice of locally produced beers by Tolgate Brewery who also own the pub. Very pleasant owner and staff. Gets rammed 4:00-7:00pm on a Friday but at other times is comfortably busy. Good to see a local business doing well in the town.

Highly recommend. The beers are great, bit also wide selection of fantastic gins and wines as well (and probably more I didn't see). Its a welcoming little place, relaxed atmosphere in a building with lots of character, will definitely be going back! Dog friendly too is a bonus
