Clare came to my house to do a make up session with me which was essentially a 2 hour lesson with all the tips and tricks needed to get my make up confidence back. Clare really does want to make things as simple and affective as possible, with the fewest products - which is absolutely amazing! I was expecting to need to buy 23980 new products, but that was really not the case. Clare listened, was super friendly and really professional. Clare created one half of my face and let me do the other half to practice with her guidance. Since the session I have invested in a couple of new products and been able to successfully re-create the look myself which I was really pleased with! Can't wait to see Clare again for my bridal trial and wedding make up next year. Would hugely recommend for a make-up lesson, event make-up booking or wedding. Thanks so much Clare! Clare did a fantastic job of my wedding makeup - I felt absolutely gorgeous. She really listened to my preferences and during the trial she talked me through everything she was doing and then was super adaptable when I asked for a couple of things to be tweaked. I don't usually wear much makeup and she made a final look that was light and comfortable. On the day I was also really impressed that she gave each bridesmaid a complementary look that also took in to account their usual makeup styles. She was super professional but also lovely company. Clare was absolutely brilliant as the make up artist for my wedding at Burtonfields Hall and I feel so lucky to have been able to book her. Throughout the preparatory emails, the trial and on the morning of the big day she was professional, calm and considerate. I'm not a big make up wearer or have much confidence in my appearance and I really appreciated that Clare listened and guided me through everything she was doing and took it gently to ensure I was happy and never out of my comfort zone. Clare really did make me look and feel like the best version of me, giving me a huge amount of confidence for the day ahead. My make up stayed in all day and night, despite my best efforts on the dancefloor over the evening! My skin felt happy and hydrated all day. I also really want to thank Clare for the make up she did for my sister (head bridesmaid) and mother of the groom, you made the morning really special and relaxed and you helped make us all look and feel beautiful. The mother of the Groom especially wanted to say how special and (understatedly) glamourous Clare made her feel even picking out the perfect shadow to match her dress and selecting a gorgeous complementary lip tone. Clare did a fantastic job when she attended my daughters wedding last October. She did the make up for the bride and three bridesmaids and they all looked stunning! I don’t usually wear much make up so I hadn’t booked her on the day thinking I would quickly do my own at the last minute and after seeing how beautiful everyone looked I asked Clare to try and quickly do my make up which she did and I loved it! Lots of people mentioned how great it looked and because I would not shut up about how good it had made me feel my daughters decided to surprise me with a personal make-up lesson with Clare. Clare went through every step with me showing how to apply the make up, explaining where to put it to get the best effect, and how tweaking it here and there made such a difference. She made me feel at ease and comfortable and answered every question I had thoroughly. At the end of the lesson I felt 10 years younger - it was a miracle! The products she used felt so light on my face and I didn’t even feel like I had make up on. We had lunch then continued on into the night and my make up looked just as good at the end of the evening. The only thing I had to redo was the lipstick, but Clare had provided me with a small amount to top up. I was I was worried that I wouldn’t remember all the advice Clare had given but I had no need to worry as Clare followed up with a huge detailed email containing everything we had done including diagrams and links to the product she had used on my face.
