FAQ

What is your staff to child ratio?

Our staff to child ratio varies depending on the age of the children. For children under 2 years old, we have a ratio of 1:3, for 2-3 year olds the ratio is 1:4, and for children over 3 years old the ratio is 1:8. This ensures that each child receives the appropriate level of care and attention.

What is your policy on sick children attending the creche?

We have a strict policy that sick children cannot attend our creche. This is to prevent the spread of illness to other children and our staff. We ask that parents keep their child at home until they are fully recovered and no longer contagious.

Are your staff trained in first aid and early childhood education?

Yes, all of our staff are trained in both first aid and early childhood education. We believe that these skills are crucial in providing a safe and stimulating environment for children. Our staff regularly undergo training to ensure that their knowledge and skills are up to date.

What activities do you offer for children of different ages?

We offer a wide range of activities for children of different ages, including arts and crafts, music and movement, outdoor play, and educational games. Our activities are designed to be age-appropriate and to encourage children to have fun while learning and developing new skills.

How do you communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities?

We use a variety of communication methods to keep parents informed about their child's progress and daily activities. This includes daily reports, regular meetings with parents, and an online portal where parents can access information about their child's development. We believe that open communication with parents is key to providing the best possible care for their children.

Tinies staff are very helpful, they are always willing to give support. Jobs are always available and the transition from temporary jobs to permanent jobs is really good. Just want to say a very big thank you to Rachel and Megan for being so kind to me. I would recommend Tinies to everyone.

Poor quality and number of candidates, impenetrable CVs containing errors and limited information about the candidates, scheduling errors for interviews resulting in me waiting around for an absent candidate on two occasions, it took days before I got responses to emails and then the response I did get ignored my requests. Don't waste your time with Tinies.

I’ve worked with Tinies on and off for around 4 years and have had the opportunity to work with some great nurseries in my time with them. The team are really friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend them if your looking for Temp work in London!

I have obtained several roles with this company, temporary and a permanent position, which I am currently employed in. All the roles I have experienced have been positive, the company negotiated pay and conditions for me and have been outstanding in other areas, for example providing me with directions and the correct buses in which to meet bookings. I love the fact this company sends potential bookings to your phone, there is no pressure unlike some companies that will throw anything at you and expect you to take it ! Tinies have always been courteous, organised and kept me well informed. The best company I have ever worked with.
