    I decided to come back to T&G Hertford on a whim in January 2023 and met the lovely Emily for a consultation. Emily is amazing! The vibe of T&G is great again. Emily is a VERY gifted hairtologyst. (To say the very least.) I am beyond happy with her hair cut:styling and my low/highlights. Emily reset my menopausal hair today. Her support and insight is amazing. A very talented, young creative hair professional and a credit to T&G Hertford. Emily will go far! The salon wasn’t busy today; after busy weekend but the staff were lovely, engaging young professionals.     PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES I wish there was an option for no stars. Appalling colour service from Emilee, I went from beautiful blonde with extended roots to move on to a ballyage / foiliage look for easy maintenance and reduced colour damage to my hair, to a muddy green and then to a mixture of washed and dark brown - worlds away from what I had come in with and worlds away from what I had asked for and been promised. I spent 8 hours in the salon after the first colour treatment of 4 hours) went wrong resulting in green hair. I was then assured there was an easy fix - I returned trusting they could resolve the issue, to have left with the most obscure colour hair, not taking the risk of further damage by a clearly under qualified and poorly run team. The franchise owner Karen was extremely rude, when I was extremely patient and gave me no indication of how it could be fixed, if I were to come in a 3rd time with a different colourist which shows me lack of both colour and management experience in colour on her part. I was given a refund - which was by no means covered the long term colour correction I am still in the process of, the damage and hair loss I am still experiencing 5 months on. There should not be colourist so undertrained, charging full price colour services any any establishment let alone a franchised, supposedly trusted brand like Toni & Guy. I wish I had never stepped foot in this salon and I hope you read this and book somewhere else. Service: Hair coloring
