Simon of Trade Cars in Cannock, sets the Gold Standard for used cars and specialise in the less common models, such the 2005 Subaru Impreza, which I purchased a few days ago from him. With rarer cars it is often difficult to find quality vehicles close to home and so the buyer has to rely on information provided by the seller, prior to inspection / test drive in person. This is where Trade Cars Direct set the gold standard, by not only providing the standard photographs of the car, but also providing a detailed video with commentary, of the vehicle, including the interior and engine: pointing out any areas which have had attention / modification by previous owners and giving a thorough explanation of the engine and comments on the vehicle history. Additionally, because I had to travel from the South of England to see the car, he put the vehicle through a new independent MOT and also videoed the underneath of the car in order that I could be satisfied with the overall condition of the car. On arrival the car was exactly as I had hoped it would be and is a delight to drive. I would recommend Trade Cars direct to anybody seeking a vehicle that is a bit different from the mass manufactured ones. Thank you and well done, Simon

Worst car buying experience ever, very pushy, lied through his teeth about the “genuine unicorn of a cupra” little did I know it was riddled with problems that had been bodged to get by, for example, the near side rear tire had been turned around because it had a bulge in it, headlight cable tied in, poorly repainted bumper and wing, with runs, he got rude because I was asking questions about the car that he got nervous about, when it come to repair the problems the car had, was nothing but hassle, refused point blank because he obviously likes to try and treat young people like there dumb, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! Take your money elsewhere and treat yourself to a genuinely good car elsewhere

Purchased Audi A5 couple of weeks ago, very poor service as booked appointment well in advance, came to the day I was due to view the car and was told the owner is now going for an evening meal, not the best first impression and also very poor way to treat a potential customer. Purchased the vehicle as his mate attended the viewing instead, the left wing mirror doesn’t adjust, the engine bay has an oil leak and apparently this is “wear & tear”. For some strange reason they pushed for 4 months warranty to be included however apparently these two issues aren’t covered.. this was not a cheap car to purchase therefore wear & tear isn’t an acceptable excuse. I was told I can take the car all the way back to Cannock whereby there mechanic would look at the problem and fix it at MY expense, don’t really understand on what planet this would be considered as helpful? In conclusion I wouldn’t purchase from here again as they’re clearly only interested in taking money, after sales care is horrific.
