Jess is the kindest, most supportive and all round amazing doula. We worked with her for several months before our 4th baby was born and we had such a magical, relaxed birth (even though it wasn't exactly what we had planned). Although I'd been through the pregnancy and birth process before, I really felt I needed some empowerment and knowledge to support me in having the birth that was right for me. Jess provided this and more. Jess went above and beyond in delivering the perfect amount of practical learning, supportive discussions, reading / listening materials and even reiki healing to balance my energy as we approached the end of my pregnancy. I don't think we will ever be able to thank Jess enough for the beautiful experience we had. Birthing my 4th and final baby, Winnie, into this world was one of the most magical and completely awesome experiences of mine and my husband's life. Jess had such a calming and peaceful presence at my most recent birth. I had the encouragement I needed to feel in control of my birth and the confidence to advocate my preferences to midwives, something I don’t think I’d have had if Jess hadn’t been there. Jess offered just the right amount of hands on and hands off support and even took photos and videos (at my request) which are now cherished and I look back fondly. I am very grateful for the support Jess offered to me and my husband, especially after it took a while to convince my husband how much I needed Jess at the birth :-) she supported him too, and I know he felt more confident with her there. Thank you Jess! P.s. if you’re thinking about hiring a Doula- hire Jess!!
