We made a long trip to Petersfield to get some of turners pies. But the apple and BlackBerry was disappointing, the apple was hard and had never been cooked properly, and the pastry was very hard also. We were not impressed at all.

Absolutely delicious steak and kidney pie. They did not spare the ingredients. We bought the meal deal with two sides and gravy. Great value and delicious home cooked food. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and super nice.

We bought some mince pies this week to try. £3.50 for 6 or £6 for 12. I can honestly say these are the best mince pies we've had this year - so much better than supermarket bought ones. They're full with mincemeat, the pastry is crumbly, yet buttery, and they are large too. Go and buy some! You won't regret it. You could even pretend you made them yourself if you wanted to impress guests! I mean, I would never do that... honestly...
