    Have been a few times and have no real complaints. The bakery isn't the cheapest but it's tasty, packaging doesn't give it the longest shelf life but it's fresh bakery what do you expect. Have had a our tea orders gotten wrong but it was very busy and the drinks were still delicious so not upset. Staff aren't the warmest but they get their jobs done

    I had some of the strawberry swiss roll from here- it was the best! the mascarpone cream filling was delicious and went perfectly with the ripe strawberries and the light, fluffy sponge cake. i was searching for a japanese style strawberry shortcake and although this wasn't exactly that, it definitely hit the spot perfectly as it was the same sort if flavours! the staff do speak limited English, but I travel frequently so I didn't mind a language barrier at all. the minimum card spend is £5 but I can assure you that this won't be hard to get up to as there are so many delicious cakes on offer! will definitely be back to buy more on my next day off- I'm also tempted to treat myself to the strawberry layer cake that I saw in the display fridge by the counter on my next payday as it looked gorgeous! if you're looking for an ultra sweet cake then this probably isn't the best place for you, but the subtle sweetness of the cakes here are perfect- I do love my desserts and often find that a lot of cakes are sickly-sweet and you can only taste the sugar, so a cake that actually tasted like the components was a very pleasant surprise.
