We appointed Ver Architecture to design a large, ground floor, single story extension. Julia was extremely efficient and nothing was too much trouble. She was very patient, as it took us some time to decide on the final scheme, and she prepared numerous drawings until we were completely satisfied with the one we eventually went ahead with. There were no issues with the plans submitted for planning and our builders had no problems with the specifications and drawings she provided them to work with. Everything went according to plan and now the build is complete we are absolutely delighted with the result and would certainly recommend Julia.

Julia was our architect for a wrap-around single-story extension with some significant internal remodelling thrown in. That work is all completed now and our home is everything that we hoped it would be. While we knew broadly what we wanted, we didn't know how to achieve it and Julia brought design skills and attention to detail to make our ideas a reality. The work covered an extended kitchen and dining room with apex roof to the rear and a new downstairs cloakroom, utility room and office to the side, with underfloor heating to most of the downstairs area. On top of this we created an enlarged upstairs bedroom with en-suite and a new family bathroom. Finally, we wanted to future proof the house and Julia created the space and design needed for us to install an internal lift between hall and landing - and though we have not had the lift fitted it can be done easily and with a minimum of work should we ever need it. Julia handled planning submissions and approval and these progressed smoothly and efficiently. From the start of the build work she had a great rapport with our builders, and any small queries they had during the build were quickly and efficiently handled - so efficiently sometimes that together they resolved something before we knew there was anything that needed a resolution. Julia was very easy to work with and always happy to accommodate our feedback in new revisions of the plan. We're thrilled with the result and with the work Julia herself did on the project to help us achieve that result. We have no hesitation in recommending her.
