I was visiting from Canada and had unfortunately received a very bad haircut 2 days prior to my trip that I tried to temporarily hide with tape extensions. I was very keen to visit V&B due to the positive reviews and took the time to research all of the different extensions types that they offer (I knew that 16” bonds would be the most suitable for my hair since it had been shorn off quite short) in order to manage my expectations. After spending a couple days carefully reviewing their Instagram profile and seeing the magic they’d done for other short haired girls, I was filled with hope that they could fix mine. I felt a little deflated after my consult, as the stylist came off a little condescending. She saw that I had my temporary tapes in and lectured me/assumed that I wanted to be refitted with new tapes. I felt really embarrassed but assured her that I wanted my extensions changed to bonds to hide my horrible haircut. Once we were on the same page, I decided to proceed with the booking. The day of my appointment, the assistant who removed my tapes was extremely rough on my hair (it felt like she was aggressively yanking out the strands from my head… I had tape extensions for years prior and have never experienced any pain during a removal). I was too intimidated to say anything at the time. The girl who actually fitted my extensions (Jade) was lovely and patient and I do appreciate the time she took to fix my hair; however, a couple of the bonds have fallen out since I’ve had them done, even with proper care. Im not one to write reviews, but this has been weighing on my mind for a few weeks as I’m just disappointed with the overall experience.

18 inch Micro Bonds. COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!! James did my hair for me after a hairdresser completely ruined my hair adding awful layers, meaning I had to cut about 5 inches off to correct. I went to V&B and explained the situation, saying I had never wanted extensions but I really wanted my hair back. James listened to all of my concerns, I was very nervous when I got to my appointment and he said "You will love it Kelly but if you're not sure, let's not do this" He was so kind, and I am SO GLAD I went ahead. Lovely salon too. Thank you James and V&B! Xxx
