I visited Hatton Garden in December as my mother wanted to sell her 22 Carat Gold Jewellery. I went into around 20-30 shops for quotes and the majority was very miserly, even one guy accusing me that one of the bracelets were ‘18 Carat, even 14’!!! Ridiculous!!! One shop (BHS) overpriced the jewellery, then couldn’t afford to pay when I said I’d take the offer! Ali, at Vogue London situated in the Heart of Hatton Garden, was polite, professional, friendly, honest and his shop had a family atmosphere. He gave me a price on my first day there and when I telephoned to make sure he had the money before I made my way to his shop and waste my time, he assured me he would purchase my mother’s jewellery. He was very honest and because the price of gold had gone up when I returned to his shop a few days later, the amount he offered was even better. If you’re looking to sell your gold/jewellery or even buy jewellery, check out Vogue London situated in the Heart of Hatton Garden shop (as soon as you walk in, it’s the first shop on your right). I cannot praise them enough! Will be going there again as mum would like to sell more of her gold in the new year too!
