Absolutely disgraceful company. My Dad has been a customer for over 60 years at WH Lane and son. For Christmas my Mum bought him a £50 gift voucher. Sadly and very suddenly my Dad passed away last week on 2nd January before being able to use the voucher. My Mum went into the shop, explained the situation and asked if they would refund the voucher. The manager was rude, uncaring and heartless and refused to refund the voucher. My 79 year old Mum left the shop in tears, thankfully a very kind customer had heard the conversation and offered to buy the voucher of her. I cannot thank this kind hearted man enough but cannot forgive WH Lane and son for their despicable callous behaviour. They don’t deserve to be in business.
