John fitted us a new (old) front door and surrounding frame/windows to replace the existing. The finished result is far better than we had envisaged. John is an incredibly skilled craftsman. John replaced the bottom of 5 of our sash windows upon moving in when we realised the old ones were rotting away. Some companies were giving us silly quotes but John provided an honest, friendly and professional service from start to finish. The work was completed when it said it would be. Hoovered up after each visit and all rubbish cleared outside too. Would 100% recommend!

John replaced our original front door and side panels which did not have safety glass. He built a new Oak frame our with new glass panels, finishing off with trim and making good the new housing such as cementing in the sides to make it all flush with a base coat of varnish to protect it initially. John from the start had strong communications skills getting back to me and arriving when she he said he would. He was tidy and respectful hoovering an clearing up each night. We are extremely pleased with the workmanship and price and would happily use John again.

I cannot recommend John enough. He has done an amazing job with the original windows in our house. He has saved them for another 100 years. I really didn't want to have to replace our period windows with UVPC, and John has made this possible. The craftmanship is exemplary- they are like brand new. They are also double-gazed (secondary glazed) and the difference in heat loss in winter is amazing. The service is perfect and incredibly reasonable. We are delighted to have found John.
