I have a two year old Frenchie who had developed some bad habits over lockdown which needed urgent addressing and I had been recommend Craig as being a veritable dog whisperer and all his reviews bore testament to this. As soon as Craig walked through the door, he assumed instant and total control of my Frenchie which was incredible to see and then proceeded to effortlessly demonstrate all the techniques to overcome and deal with the behavioural issues - with a strong emphasis on me doing them to learn by doing them to ensure I was able to apply them successfully. Craig was a great teacher and able to convey all the behavioural techniques in a very clear, comprehensible and personable way which made learning them so much easier and enjoyable and was ultimately incredibly confidence inspiring. My Frenchie has been like a different dog since the sessions with Craig and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

It has taken almost 2 years to leave this review but many times we reflect on what great advice/training Craig gave on our puppy training 'course' . We had never had a puppy before but now have a fantastically well behaved dog, largely credit to Craig (thank you). He nipped any undesirable behaviour in the bud in each session, often within just a few minutes, and although some of the growling noises he recommended we struggled with (we have adapted slightly!) his training has been invaluable. No hesitation in recommending Craig - he is calm, happy to give extra time when needed, he clearly loves dogs, is totally in tune with them and is a true dog whisperer.

Our puppy broke her leg and had to suffer crate rest for quite a number of weeks, this lead to behavioural issues and problems with the way we were treating and relating to her. Craig was an absolute god send, he is incredibly knowledgeable and was able to show us behavioural changes within minutes. I can not recommend highly enough.

Can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review. We did the 2 private sessions with Craig and it was honestly a great decision. Our dog doesn't like having guests in the house so Craig helped us work on that and also helped us with recall and loose leash walking. He is a great walker and is just so much more calm overall. Craig was very attentive and spends a lot of time with you to make sure he addresses all your concerns. Thank you for your help!

Craig saved us! He worked magic with Rafiki, my newly adopted ex-racing Greyhound who was struggling with night-time separation anxiety. Living in London, there are many options for dog trainers, but I found that Well Mannered Mutt offered the best expertise and value for money. Craig is worth every penny and then some! His presence is very calm and encouraging, and I did not feel rushed or stressed working with him. He really understands dogs and has made such a positive difference in our lives. If you are struggling with a newly adopted rescue, I cannot recommend Craig enough. Rafiki gives him five stars as well!

You won't regret booking a session with Well Mannered Mutt! Before my session with Well Mannered Mutt it was a chore to walk my dog on the lead. He'd pull hard on the lead and none of the methods I knew of were working to get him to walk nicely. After a 3 hour session with Craig my dog was already much improved and a pleasure to walk. I can't believe I didn't contact Craig sooner for help with my dog. We'll be back for more training in other areas soon.

Fantastic service, great experience, all canine concerns banished! I asked Craig for help with an issue with my rescue dog. I can completely recommend this service - it is brilliant. Craig really teaches you to understand and communicate with your dog. If you think you 'read' your dog pretty well already - this is still so worth it as there will definitely be nuances of that conversation you could be having a lot better! Before the sessions, I had asked myself how much easier life might have been with a expensive 'foundation trained' puppy and felt that might be my call in future. However, I have completely changed my mind. I now feel totally confident to deal effectively and gain the right behaviour with my dog, or actually any dog, and will be up for rescuing again if such a thing arises. Not only do you learn a great deal from a seriously intelligent guy who is top of his game, Craig is engaging and very amusing company - you will have a lot of fun too! Reasonable price as well! We were having a number of issues with our 14-month old Labrador Ada's behaviour, both at home and out on walks. When out for walks, she would pull on the lead and at home, she tried being 'top dog', forever demanding attention and barking incessantly. This was really getting to us, and I was, to be honest, at the end of my tether. We are so very happy to have found Craig and Well Mannered Mutt. In just two sessions, he managed to turn things around, teaching us practical and easy to use training techniques and exercises to reinforce the good behaviour. Needless to say, the training was just as much for us as it was for Ada (maybe more). Craig was always there for support when we needed help or advice, which was very reassuring. The difference in Ada's behaviour was actually noticeable already after the first training session and things have continued to improve as we have implemented the routines and techniques that Craig taught us. We would highly recommend Craig and Well Mannered Mutt to anybody who is looking for a dog trainer/behaviourist - he is absolutely fantastic and also, a really nice guy.
