    Lovely fish n chips. However, fish should come with chips. The disappointment was that I went with my 86 year old mum who has dementia and is a bit funny with food nowadays. I asked if she could have kids portion. This request was refused. While I understand she's not under 12, it is clear she is of a certain age and I feel this request could have been honoured showing a little compassion and less rigidity. You're still earning.

    This is not an ordinary Fish & Chip shop. Very clean and spacious (for foldable bike /push chair) with very friendly service from the waiter (If you would like to know her name you should go there and ask!). I ate a haddock F&C when I went there first time and this time pan fried sea bass. Most importantly fish are very fresh! If I could use chopsticks I could have eaten fish perfectly and cats would hate me. (It is a bit difficult to eat with knife and folks) Some people complained about the fish bones but I would like to say you are not eating mollusk. This is the best F&C I have ever been.

    I had a bad experience overall, which was a total shame. Firstly I ordered my food and sat at the table to wait. As they then told me my meal was ready and that I wanted to eat in, I had to pay £2.50 extra to do so. After that, they treated me like they didn't want me in the building and seemed very moody around me too. To make matters worse, I found an eyelash in my tartare sauce and a small one underneath the chips. In all, it was such a shame because the food quality was great but everything else let the side down completely and has therefore left a bad taste in the mouth of my experience there.
