We've been really fortunate to have had Chris Winter looking after our pianos for such a long while [since 1987!] so, from this point of view, we are very sad to be leaving the area. His expertise will be very much missed. When we asked if he would be able [or willing!] to transport our Yamaha upright and Grotrian Steinweg baby grand to Wales as a 'special ask' (and separate from our general house move), we were delighted that he and his son, Luke, agreed to help. We're so pleased that they advised us to delay the delivery for a week. That way, we had a chance to settle into our new home after the 'general move' with all that entails. Not only did Chris & Luke make it to Wales after a long, 3-hour journey, they were on time and in good spirits. To say we are grateful to them would be an understatement. Their friendly professionalism and the care and attention they gave our pianos throughout the process: on pickup, fitting the upright with ‘rollers’, safe storage, security in transit and on delivery - was all carried out with their customary smile and good humour. It's easy to give White & Sentence a 5-star recommendation. We really couldn’t have asked for better and it helped our stress levels enormously to know that they were in charge of 'the keys'!
