We booked a removal, sadly the booking was unnecessary so asked to downsize the booking, understandably we couldn’t so paid £800 for a bed and small sofa to be moved a few miles. Laurel and Hardy rocked up, the carpets being hugely expensive and BRAND new up the stairs we asked politely “no shoes please upstairs” after an excuse about company policy they said they would cover the carpets. Sadly minutes later I caught the chuckle brothers up stairs with dirty black boots on. Again i insisted they cover the carpets before returning back up the stairs they huffed and puffed spitting bullets every step of the way. FINALLY they covered the carpet’s begrudgingly doing as they were asked. Thankfully I didn’t need the crayons to draw a picture - Although very close!! After they left we noticed a large number of scuffs from carelessness. Honestly hugely disappointing and unacceptable. Would never use again.

A family run business, that really knows what it's doing. Personal service for house moves. Also has a storage facility. Can do international moves and part loads. Used them many times over the years. Now in a massive new facility, with more trucks and staff, but still personal service.

I cannot recommend Wilkins highly enough. They were extremely accommodating over holding dates for us during a tricky exchange, and the removal team were truly amazing. They moved us over several days during the heatwave with good will and humour, in difficult conditions. They took good care of our belongings, and managed some heavy pieces of furniture up a wooden spiral staircase. Thank you!
