I do quite a lot of networking and it some cases it feels like a bit of a chore - something you need to do to be visible and promote yourself as a business owner. Not so with WIBN - I really look forward to the monthly meetings and the atmosphere at each meeting, which is supportive, welcoming, educational and fun! It is great to spend time with like-minded women who have care and support at the heart of what they do. Louise keeps it light, fun and interesting. Everyone in the group has the opportunity to present to the group to find out more about each others businesses and to ask question to ensure we really understand how to support and refer the other members. Of course, referrals are key to growing your business and I am happy to report that some of my best clients have come through WIBN - one directly after I did a 10 minute presentation (which shows why it is important to educate members about what you do!) and the others through someone who offered similar services but had no capacity to take on new clients. All in all, if you are thinking of visiting, with a view to expanding your network and visibility, I would absolutely recommend that you do so!

I have been a WIBN member for 3 years now and have been overwhelmed by how kind and supportive the women in my group are. Louise Yexley, who runs our group, is amazing at what she does. She is extremely friendly and welcoming which means that networking isn't as scary for those who are visiting or just starting out with their businesses. I would recommend WIBN and in particular Louise's groups for any women that are looking for a support network to help them grow their business (and confidence!).
